Void Legions

Void Legions is a real-time, pausable planetary invasion game, heavily inspired by the 1992 classic Star Legions.

You are an Imperial Tribune. The planet below refused to submit. You have a fleet, a clock, and a planet cracker in orbit waiting if you fail.

You command the invasion from orbit. Invade a procedurally generated world where multiple nations with distinct defensive strategies  will oppose you.

Teleport shock troops onto the surface, seize landing zones then ferry in heavier legions by dropship. Combined-arms combat, maneuver and strategy decide whether a beachhead holds or is annihilated.

Nations break one at a time: capture cities, wreck armies, and watch local news headlines sour until they surrender, all while the countdown at the top of the screen ticks down. Win quickly and cheaply and the Empress notices. Run out of time and the planet is gone, along with your career.
